Potted Mums Longevity #775296

Asked October 13, 2021, 5:44 PM EDT

I have three mums I bought in early to mid September. They are still in the pots they came in. They are fading. If I repot them in good potting soil, will they rebound?

Instead of repotting,

"deadheading (cutting of the spent blooms) can encourage them to set more flowers for [the rest of] this fall." https://www.uaex.uada.edu/yard-garden/in-the-garden/reference-desk/pruning/chrysanthemums.aspx
