Is there any particular repellant you would recommend to deterrent a skunk that is digging in our yard in the city limits?

Chances are the skunk is digging for grubs and insects in the yard. Repellents are generally not effective against skunks. The best method to get rid of a skunk is often to trap it. I am including the URL to information about skunks. After looking it over, if you have questions, get in touch.

Thank you for the advice. We have tried to apply applicator to the lawn to kill the slugs; but, the skunk continues to dig up the yeard. Does the Extension trap skunks or who would we have to contact for trapping and transport?

You can contact the Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife, they may have a list of companies in your area who trap wildlife. Extension does not have traps.
