Yes, please, Before I send you over to one of our fruit experts, please provide some additional pictures ( size of each can not exceed 8mb) and info:
Identification depends on knowing when it is ripe,
looking at the stem end with stem attached
and the calyx end (opposite the stem),
looking at the side of the apple,
and at the fruit in cross section( cut open).
The better the picture quality, the better possibilities of identification.
This info will really help.

I still lean toward Rome. It should still be very hard. I would need to taste it to be more sure.
