I planted a couple raspberry bushes this spring and they are producing a few clusters of berries now. Would it keep the bugs/birds off the berries if I cover those berry clusters with a mesh cloth bag? All the flowers have been pollinated and set fruit already. Would it cause any damage to the berries to be in a bag like that? Thanks!

This should be OK. Ripening might be slower. Net bags that allow more light to reach the fruit might be a better consideration next year.
