I have a cluster of plants in my flower bed that flower similar to liatrice but have wide leaves rather than the very narrow leaves of the liatrice. Is this a weed and if it is, what is it? Thank you.

This looks like maybe a type of Veronica, possibly Veronica longifolia or Garden speedwell, or long leaved speedwell.
