I understand that CSU has a mature specimen of Heptacodium Miconioides: Seven Son Flower. I will be in the area and plan to visit the trial gardens tomorrow … and hoping that you can share where I can locate the Seven Son Flower! My guess is it will be in one of the other gardens, but I am not sure where to start looking and hope you can help me.

Hi Blanche,
The seven sons is located north of the gazebo (located in the Annual Trial Gardens, 1401 Remington Street) and north of the Plant Select garden. It's near the large linden and south of the scotch pine.
If you are at the garden tomorrow between 9am-noon, Dr. Jim Klett will be there and can point it out to you--they are having a consumer day at the Trial Gardens (which might be why you're coming?).
Allison, I really appreciate the quick reply and very clear guidance. You're right, I'm headed to the Trial Gardens for the Consumer Day event ... and so looking forward to seeing a mature version of what we recently planted in our backyard!
Thanks again,
~Blanche
