Debra, Thank you for your photo.  It appears that you plants are infested with aphids in varying stages of development.  If the feeding is causing disfiguring of the plants and is not tolerated, then I would suggest the use of low risk insecticides such and Neem, soaps or oils that are labelled for the treatment of aphids and follow the labelled directions for use exactly.  Please see attached.
