I noticed my coneflower has some very narrow, odd looking petals. Could this be asters yellow (or another disease)? Thank you!!!

The shortened petals might be a symptom of aster yellows but we can't be sure by viewing the photo.
If the plant is affected, more obvious symptoms will probably develop.
Symptoms of aster yellows and rosette mite damage are similar and it's sometimes difficult to distinguish between them.
