Planted in 2018, the primary/tip leaf of many branches wilted. All the other leaves seem fine. The dogwood is under a roof overhang, with some of the branches in full sun (summer). This is seen in both areas.

My guess would be water stress. Plants under eaves and overhangs are often water-deprived. Read here:
