We purchased industrial vinegar for use to kill unwanted grass and weeds in our vegetable garden. We also were thinking about using it kill the grass/weeds around the base of our apple trees inside their cages and blueberries, raspberries.. Is this a good idea or is there another product that will accomplish this? Any advise will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Vinegar is acetic acid and considered a chemical like a purchased weed killer. High concentrations will kill not only weeds but likely plants you do not want removed. The least invasive method of grass and weed removal is to hand pick. Following that using a herbicide that is specific to grass and the type of weed you want to eradicate is important. Always read and use as instructed on the label. Below is a link to information on controlling weeds.
