My pickle plants that I have planted came on great and now all of a sudden they are slowly dying off. Looks as if the stem is rotting at the soil level. Any help in possibly saving them? Pictures included.

It appears that you have either squash vine borer or bacterial wilt in your cucumber. The attached fact sheets will provide some control measures. For the plants affected, remove them from your garden and replant seeds in an area away from the current plants and away from the area where cucumbers were grown last year.
