Actually, a note: Found M. multiflora among the weeds alongside a bike path close to my home. Have never seen it before. You (and everyone else) state that it grows in S. Colo only - well, heads up! I think it's now in Boulder. Could be a garden escapee, but really, it's not a popular plant and the bike path is not close to people's gardens. There are several rel. small plants growing close together. One of very rare benefits of global warming...
