bugs in hanging basket geranium #757201

Can you identify these bugs that I found on a geranium in a hanging basket? They are about 3 millimeters and very flat.

These look like Brown Marmorated Stink Bug nymphs. They are more often a pest of vegetable gardens and woody plants but they can get on a variety of ornamental plants too. You can wear gloves and tap the bugs into a container of soapy water to kill them and discard them. Here is more information and tips for dealing with stink bugs.
