Ground cover under pine trees #757162

Asked June 19, 2021, 10:16 AM EDT

Hello, I have 3 rows of pine trees that are planted fairly close together, and are mature and have shaded undergrowth. There is a few things growing like poison ivy and other types of weeds, but I'd like to get some kind of ground cover that will cover it well, and choke out weeds and give a little protection from fire. An idea that I a come accross was Sweet Woodruff. Is that a good option? Other ideas? I will include some pictures.

I think it would be an excellent choice.
