I submitted a question earlier this afternoon regarding this moth or butterfly that invaded my raspberry patch last June and is back again this June. I’m adding another photo which has more detail.

Expert Response

Moths do not feed on raspberries and feed on nectar as adults. It's possible that the larvae of this Pyralid moth could damage raspberries. However, it's not either of the most common raspberry pests - Raspberry cane borer or Spotted Wing Drosophila.

If you find a caterpillar on the plant or in the stem, that would be the insect life stage that attacks raspberry.
