In the water that drained from my potted palm (10" pot) this worm turned up...about 1 inch long, pictured in a red dishpan.
I haven't ever had a worm in an indoor plant and don't know what to do. I am hoping there is a remedy as I have only had this plant for about a month....I did also today find a snail (dead or alive, I don't know) on top of the pot soil. Pls tell me what to do....thank you

The photo isn't clear enough to be sure but I am guessing that is a centipede. It was just seeking a moist area: Sowbugs, millipedes and centipedes | UMN Extension As far as the snail is concerned, just pick it up and put it in the garbage.
