Help identifying problem with fig tree #755701

Asked June 12, 2021, 10:29 AM EDT

I need some help figuring out what is wrong with my fig tree. I don't remember the variety--I believe it's either an LSU purple or a Celeste.  The closest thing that describes what I'm seeing is FMV but I'm not sure if that's the problem.  The newest leaves are coming out smaller than normal, deformed with a wavy texture, and with a lighter green/yellow striation-like pattern.  I've also noticed a white fuzz on some of the branches and undersides of the leaves.  The fruit is just barely coming in so I cannot see any problems with it yet. I'm attaching a photo of the entire tree, a photo of a normal leaf, some photos of the problem leaves and the white fuzz, and a photo of the fruit.  I would greatly appreciate some assistance in identifying the infestation or disease and any suggestions on treating it.  Thank you!
