1) Identify weed, 2) Office open for business? #755513

Greetings,
1) Could you please help me identify this "weed" in my St. Augustine yard? [pic attached] It looks like Bermuda, sort of, but grows more in feathery clumps which raise above the SA, instead of spider-webs hugging the ground. (Also has a little of the look of an asymmetric long-needled pine!??). And if you can ID, what chemical would I use to kill in SA yard? Hand-pulling not preferred!
2) Also, are your office in Houston on US-290 open yet? I sometimes bring samples of fungus/bug-eaten yard or plants for quick ID, your office fairly close and handy.
Thanks, and you guys are a great help in keeping everything green and healthy.

I am unable to identify the sample that you attached. Have you ever seen a flower or seed head on it? Here is a link to grassy weeds that are found in our area. https://aggieturf.tamu.edu/turfgrass-weeds/
Yes, the office on 290 is open.
Thanks for the question.
Thanks, Paul. Can I just drop in some day ad-hoc, and bring some samples in baggies? Much easier to figure it out that way.
No flowers or seed heads seen yet, but it is taking over historical fungus-weakened areas rather quickly. It has fine blades like Bermuda, but does not necessarily grow close to the ground, in obvious bunches/tufts fanlike. It’s color is deep green, almost a little blue like spruce.
If walk-in is OK, let me know your good times/days (and bad). I live in Cypress and am up and down 290 a few times each week. I will bring mask, and I have had both moderna jabs.

You can drop by the office any time. We now have another horticulture agent to help with plant questions also if I happen to be out of the office.
