Safety of exposed fiberglass insulation #755060
Asked June 09, 2021, 1:09 PM EDT
Installers used unfaced fiberglass to fill joist spaces in our basement, which we use for indoor gardening, storage, and hobby activities. I cannot find information on safety of this material, (other than it is not likely carcinogenic) particularly if it gets bumped by storage items. Is there espiratory risk of particulate matter? Can it be covered?
