Fuzzy Golden Bees #754758

Asked June 08, 2021, 10:50 AM EDT

I have a nest inside my bricks of my home! I sprayed two weeks ago only to find out that they were still there a few days later! I then sprayed directly into the opening instead of spraying from afar like I did before! Thinking that my problem was solved, “They are still there”.... I don’t know what to do!!! Please help!!!

Can you provide a picture so we can confirm the type of bee/wasp this is?

If it is a honeybee, you may want to contact a local bee keeper to see if they could safely remove the insects. (https://beeremovalsource.com/bee-removal-list/virginia/)

If they are not honeybees, then you want to make sure you are making your spray application at night when the insects are all in the nest.  And you would want to see if you can find a way to close up the hole after spraying to keep them in the nest.

I'm afraid that the pictures are low resolution and I'm not able to see enough detail of the insect for identification.  Can you kill one (not smushed) and take a close-up picture of the top and bottom?
