Guinea pig rehome #753363

Asked June 01, 2021, 6:04 PM EDT

I have a herd of 4 (possibly only 3) guinea pigs that, although my heart is absolutely breaking, I am no longer able to give the love and care to that they so deserve. Someone mentioned checking to see if any 4H families might be looking. Here is a description of the herd the cage and everything that comes with them. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=<personal data hidden>24080&id=<personal data hidden>9225

Expert Response

Hi Adrienne,
Thank you for contacting the Washington County 4-H Program about re-homing your adorable guinea pigs.  4-H youth are very particular about the breeds of animals that they raise and show so it is very difficult to find youth within our program that would be looking for additional animals.
Please consider contacting the Oregon Human Society or your local animal shelter to see if they have openings to help re-home your animals.

That's what I figured but I wanted to try.

Thank you so much
