bugs in plum tree #752945

Hello today I noticed I have bugs in my plum tree. Can you tell me what they are and how to get rid of them?  This past year I did have one branch turn blackish and it died.  I have attached pictures.

Thank you looking at the pictures these look to be termites.  What can I use to kill them and try to save the tree.
