Identification of blueberry variety #752812

Asked May 29, 2021, 8:11 AM EDT

Hello, I have inherited 50+ yr old blueberry plants on my property and I’m in the process of rehabilitating them but I’d like to know exactly what kind they are since I plan on taking cuttings and possibly selling those in the future. Is there a place I can send a sample to find out what they are? Any help would be much appreciated!

Dear Melanie

How exciting!

I am going to reach out to some friends at Ohio State University. I will let you know what I find out.

Because of the holiday weekend, it might take a few days.

I am still waiting for a response.

Melanie

I spoke with OSU Extension.  Regretfully, we could not figure out a definitive way to identify your blueberry varieties, there are too many.

You are most welcome. All the best.

just a suggestion. Take photos at all stages of flower, fruit and leaves. This might help in the future with identification.
