Black spots on leaves of my maple trees #752785

Any information regarding info on the leaves of my maple trees would be greatly appreciated

Hi Diane,
THis is a common fungal disease of maple called anthracnose. It occurs in wet cool springs and causes those unsightly brown lesions. In some cases it is severe enough to cause defoliation but even if some leaves drop, the tree can withstand the damage.  No fungicides are warranted, and if they were you would have had to spray back in early May or April as the leaves were coming out.
