These leaf spots do not appear to be caused by pest or disease and are likely due to temporary environmental conditions during leaf development. The light level of damage we see should not threaten the health of the plant and no intervention is needed. If you see symptoms worsen, you are welcome to submit additional photos for to assess.

Many areas in MD are quite behind on rainfall, so check soil in the root area for moisture level and soak the area well if needed. This will help lessen any general stresses on the tree and help to keep it vigorous.
