There appear (via night-time cameras) to be 3 young foxes and 1 adult living in a natural area adjacent to our house here in Hillsborough. They appear to be active from nightfall to dawn, including on our front porch. The remains of small animals on our front lawn is an almost daily discovery. Would appreciate any advice as to whether they will move on or do we need to learn how to live alongside. You counsel would be appreciated.

I provided you with the phone number of the Wildlife biologist. Were you able to speak with him about the foxes?
Thanks for checking in, Mart.
We just returned home, so this afternoon I left both a voicemail and a text at the number you provided for Mr. Jason. Hopefully, he'll respond soon.
Take Good Care,
roger
Please let me know how it works out.
FYI: Still no response from Mr. Jason.

I don't know why Jason hasn't returned your call. Here is a link about foxes. Call the helpline number below. They should be able to provide additional guidance.

This information sheet is quite helpful. Thanks so much!

Let me know if you make the call and what the NC wildlife commission recommends.
