Leahnette: I think these might be snowy tree crickets that got excited by the cycle of warm days we recently had. Rarely do they cause enough damage to require any spraying. Is it possible for you to get a close-up picture and either email it to me at <personal data hidden> or send it to my cell<personal data hidden>. There is a chance they are grasshoppers or something else. Have the raspberry flowers opened? Chip

YOUR QUESTION #0021478:
My raspberries are infested with baby grasshoppers
Hi there! I am seeing a lot of tiny green grasshoppers on my raspberry bushes and they appear to be eating holes in the leaves. There are also lots and lots of bees buzzing around in the raspberries. What can I do to eliminate the grasshoppers without harming the bees? Appreciate your help!Ask Extension offers one-to-one expert answers from Cooperative Extension/University staff and volunteers within participating Land-Grant institutions across the United States.
