Choke Cherry Fungus #751529

Asked May 22, 2021, 8:27 PM EDT

I'm pretty sure my Choke Cherries have a fungus. They are 20 years old. Cracked bark with some spotted material inside the large cracks. Dead branches in different areas of trees. Cutting a lot off but don't know where to go from there. Fungicide? What kind? Thank you.

Pat,
It all depends how advanced this disease is.  Could you please send photos of the whole tree and a close up of the infected areas.
Thank You!
