Burning bush is no longer recommended as it can become invasive in some environments.
The redosier dogwood, a.k.a. red twig dogwood, requires pruning out older brown stems to keep the young red stems the dominant feature, but is a nice choice- https://extension.umn.edu/trees-and-shrubs/redosier-dogwood
Remember to choose the tree or shrub that likes the other growing conditions your site has- moist or dry soil, sandy or clay, alkaline or acidic pH. Here are some references for you with many more selections.
