Hello! I am hoping you can give me some advice regarding the best trees for a privacy fence in the twin cities area? We are hoping to plant trees along the edge of our yard to block out some loud traffic noise. I have been doing some research but I thought I’d reach out to the experts in Minnesota! I really like the look of American Arborvitae. I like that they are cylindrical because we don’t want the trees to take up a large circumference (the yard is pretty small). Does American Arborvitae grow well in the twin cities? Are they prone to any particular diseases? Any other recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated!
