Thank you for your question and congratulations on your new home.  Your beautiful tree is a flowering crabapple tree.  These are small, hardy trees that do well in our climate.  It will flower early in the spring followed by small cherry-sized crabapple fruit.  Birds and deer sometimes eat the fruit.  They are too sour to eat directly off the tree but crabapple jams and chutneys are a delicious fall treat.
