A year ago our 3 Arborvitae got snow burn. It seems that underneath the brown there is new growth. Is there a chance that these trees will come back?

Hi Shari,
If the tissues are still soft/supple, they may recover some. If they are hard/brittle and/or dry, they will not. Unfortunately this is not a very adaptable species for Colorado--they struggle with our dry climate, lack of humidity, and winter winds.
Juniper are a better choice, if you do need to replace them. There are many narrow choices that would be a great substitute.
