Hi! My family and I are moving to Anchorage from overseas. I am not familiar with what is available up there. I see lots of CSAs, greenhouses, etc, which is fantastic. Does anyone happen to know if there are organically grown plants, starts, herbs, fruit trees/bushes available for purchase up there? Otherwise, I would need to bring them with me from the L48 when we drive up. Thanks for your help!

There are many greenhouses and CSA's with organic produce available. The best farmers market in the state is in Anchorage. The Mat-Su Valley just north of Anchorage is home to many organic farms and growers. Bells Nursery in Anchorage has every thing you can imagine.
BTW, Canada will not allow veggies, fruits or other plant material across the border.
