tips turning brown and dying #749406

the tips of our green giants are starting to turn brown, than some dry out and die off. It looks like it is getting worst. some of them are in pots and some are newly planted. they get plenty of water. could you tell me what this could be caused by and what I should do. thanks

This looks like desiccation (drying) of the tips. Could have been caused by the pots affected by winter temperatures, wind, and not enough moisture in the pots. Also could be simply the plants getting established in the soil.
At any rate, plant the potted ones in the ground. Keep them all watered when nature does not provide at least 1" of water every week during the growing season--spring through fall--for 2 years.
Do not let evergreens go into the winter in dry soil.
