I thought this plant looked like a green that got somehow planted in a few random spots in my garden. But I used a few plant id apps and it’s saying it’s something like curly dock; a weed.

We agree that this looks like one of the Dock species (Rumex), though differentiating between them can be challenging. All recorded species in MD are non-native save for three, two of which are so rare that they are not likely to appear in gardens, and the third of which is different enough in appearance so as to not be a candidate for the specimen you have. Therefore, we'd classify it as a weed.
