Hi,

Have a coppertone that is growing odd leaves. Is this actually a growth or a different plant, like a weed? This coppertone was planted in 2020 but was damaged in February 2021 freeze. However, when I pruned the dead segments off the coppertone, saw this growing alongside it. Was not sure if it was a weed or a deformed part of the plant courtesy of the freeze.
