Weed Help - Quackgrass, Crabgrass, Nutsedge? #749278

Hi I live in Hugo MN and am seeing a lot of this tall looking grass and suspect quackgrass/crabgrass/nutsedge/or fescue....or something. Any help would be very much appreciated as I am just not good with this stuff they all look the same - ha!

The sheath, auricle (blade attachment) and long white rhizomes (roots) indicate this is quackgrass.

Youre the best! So no herbicide for this guy - it has to be treated with non-selective vegetation killer and then the patch in the lawn reseeded?

Yes, this is a tough one to get rid of.  It may take more than one treatment so don’t be in a hurry to reseed until you are sure it’s gone.  Good luck!
