Calibrate Gauge for home pressure cooker #749236

I have an unused pressure cooker and my understanding is the gauge has to be calibrated before use. Where do I go to get that done? Thank you, Reva Hill

Hi Reva,

    Thank you for your Question.  Extension staff in the Montgomery County Extension office are teleworking at this time to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.  If you can travel to the Frederick County Extension office, Family and Consumer Sciences Educator, Debbie Rhoades will set up an appointment with you and test the new pressure canner to assure it is calibrated accurately.
