Expert Response

Sadly, Lucky Bamboo does not seem to have been studied so I cannot give you any research-based, reliable information. BUT I can ask you to think about a few things to see if they could be contributing factors:
1. How deep is the water it is in? I believe they need only a bit covering roots so they can get some bit of air and not drown.
2. Is it in direct sunlight? Indirect light might be better, particularly at this time of the year when the sun can be pretty strong.
3. Silly, as this seems, is your container clean? Buildup of algae certainly will not help your plant. Think about how you use a clean vase for flowers.
4. Sometimes houseplants suffer from water that is too chlorinated. You might pour the water for the plant and let it sit overnight so the chlorine dissipates.

I am sorry to not have a good fact sheet to give you but hope these suggested thoughts will prove helpful.
