Viburnum problem #747654

Asked May 03, 2021, 12:03 PM EDT

Hello, I am having a problem with a Viburnum Mariesii. Blooms on several branches are wilting and look to be dying. When lightly scratching branches, there is green on affected branches. Should affected branches be pruned out? Thank you in advance for your time.

Expert Response

Is it possible those branches got nipped by the severe frost a week ago or so?

We don't see any disease evidence, so recommend that you give the branches plenty of time to leaf out again.
