Insect nest structures #745296

Found this cemented structure in my back yard composed of small pieces of stone. Size is 3cm x 4cm and 1.5 cm high. What kind of insect does this?

I am not entirely sure. The only way to know is to enclose the nest with an insect-proof mesh and see what comes out. I am a bee expert, which affects my answer, but it could be the nest of one of our resin bees in the genus Dianthidium:

Thanks for the information.  The nest is empty unfortunately, but the website you provided had one picture that at least looks similar.
