Turf type tall fescue is going to be your best bet for lawns in Oldham County. A list of recommended cultivars is included in http://www2.ca.uky.edu/agcomm/pubs/AGR/AGR52/AGR52.pdf

For heavy shade situations, it may be difficult to get any grass to thrive long-term.
