Hello,
This is Poa annua aka: annual bluegrass. It is a cool season grass that is a genetically close cousin to KY bluegrass. The most practical way to eliminate annual bluegrass is to spray the infested area with glyphosate, or another non-selective herbicide, and then re-seed the sprayed area. Hope that helps!!
