Hi,

This weed has really become prevalent over the past few seasons.  It is called Poa trivialis aka: roughstalk bluegrass.  Unfortunately, there are very limited chemical control options.  The best way to eliminate this weed is to spray with glyphosate, or another non-selective herbicide, and then re-seed the treated areas.  Hope this helps!  If you have more questions feel free to reach out.
