Is this plant a perennial? #744409

Asked April 14, 2021, 10:11 PM EDT

I planted 3 perennials last year, and unfortunately, I can't remember what they were. But these plants came up this spring, and they don't look familiar. Does this plant look familiar to you, and can you please tell me what you think it is? Thank you.

This looks like field pepperweed (Lepidium campestre). It is a winter annual that forms a rosette of foliage in the fall, winters over, and then makes the flowering stem in spring. https://weedid.missouri.edu/weedinfo.cfm?weed_id=155
