transplanting tomato starts #744398

Asked April 14, 2021, 8:11 PM EDT

I recently transplanted the tomatoes that I started from seed. By the next morning half of them had collapsed. is there any thing I can do to perk them back up? They are inside in a sunny window.

Expert Response

Not knowing how you prepared the transplant soil and how it compared with the original soil and what types of tomato plants were planted and wether you watered the and fed(nutrients) it may be safe to suggest thAt the plants went into “shock” and may recover with tlc.  Perhaps adding the original soil around the transplants and getting the plants outside in this wonderful sunshine will help them back.
