Saw this bee on a tulip leaf, early evening. I’ve been told it is hard to ID these to species level, but is there a list of which species are in OR, and what plants the various Adrena bees frequent?

Expert Response
Hi Linda, I'm always amazed at how much other people notice in the insect world. Yes, indeed there is a great publication from the Oregon Department of Agriculture which lists of common bee pollinators of the Willamette Valley. I like this publication as it shows where the bees carry pollen, which are their favored plants, and their nesting behavior.
