Each lab has its own fee schedule, so you should ask them. There are some soil factors that differ from species to species, especially pH. Vegetables need a higher (less acidic) soil pH than do blueberries and rhododendrons, for example. I suggest you tell the lab what plants are in the soil you want tested, so they can advise you how many samples to collect, and how to collect them. I hope this is helpful. Good luck!
