Expert Response

There are a number of reasons for browning leaves on spider plants.  The most common reason is overwatering and/or build up of salts in the soil. If over fertilizing is the cause, cut back and use a very dilute fertilizer infrequently.  If build of salts is the cause, the easiest solution is to repot it.The following website summarizes the reasons nicely.
