Normally you cannot use a crabgrass preventer when seeding but I did find this article from Rutgers explaining products that can be used.  If you have found siduron as a stand alone product, follow the directions on the label.  The label is always the law and the safest way to use any product.  Weed Control in Spring Seedings (rutgers.edu)
